To be with the Lord all my life
The First Profession of our Two Novices took place on 5th January 2019. The celebrations began with an entrance procession where the novices Chandini Digal and Liza Pradhan approached the altar with the lighted lamps as a sign of their self offering to the Lord. They were accompanied by their beloved parents, Sr. Linette the Provincial and Sr. Nirmala Simon the Novice Mistress along with the main celebrant Rev. Fr. Antony Polakat OCD and other priests.
Rev. Fr. Antony Polakat OCD, the main celebrant of the day inspired the gathering with a meaningful message fitting to the occasion that is the relationship of God with His people explained with wine and the branches as portrayed in the gospel of St. John. Sr. Linette the Provincial Superior received their vows and welcomed them to the family of the Sisters of St. joseph of Annecy, Bhubaneswar. The newly professed were given the following names Sr. Chandini and Sr. Liza as a sign of their acceptance of new way of life. At the end of the Eucharistic celebration Srs. Chandini and Liza thanked the gathering for being with them to witness this great event of life. The occasion was celebrated by felicitating them and wishing the newly professed the best in their life journey.
