The air filled with love, gratitude and joy the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy, Bhubaneswar Province celebrated the diamond Jubilee of Sr. Marie Lione and the Silver Jubilee of Srs. Marie Rose, Leena and Maria. It was a celebration of their loving and selfless service to the Congregation and to the people they serve. One of the jubilarian on behalf of the others expressed her gratitude to God and the others saying their hearts resonates with gratitude and praise to the Almighty for the marvelous gift of life and vocation they have received to bear witness to the world.
The celebrations started with the Holy Eucharistic celebration where hundreds of sisters of the Province participated and raised their heart in thanksgiving for the wonderful gifts of our jubilarians to the Province. Their life was a journey in love with their master who called them and made them His very own. Their journey was comprised of varieties of experience and situations. It was a journey of mountains and valleys, zigzagging paths but what made their journey very special was their choice navigating master who was “Jesus” Himself. Sr. Lima introduced the jubilarians giving a short history of their life journey and as a Sister of St. Joseph. It was very inspiring and heart touching as one could visualize the experiences they had been going through to reach this stage of life. In a world where long term commitment has become a telltale story these committed women are true witness of God’s love.
It was truly moments of pride and celebration to the Province….. congratulations dear Sisters…..
