On 20th October 2018, six temporary professed sisters of Bhubaneswar Province made their perpetual commitment in the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy with deep sentiments of “FOREVER YOYRS IN LOVE AND SERVICE”.
It was moments of joy and celebration for the six sisters who wholeheartedly committed themselves to God and to the Church. Rt. Rev. Bishop Simon Kaipuram, CM presided over the Holy Eucharistic Celebration at St. Vincent Pro-Cathedral Church, Bhubaneswar. Sr. Pauline the Superior General of the Congregation received the vows and accepted the newly professed to the Congregation and missioned them. Sr. Maria Goretti the Asst. Superior General, Sr. Linette the Provincial Superior and hundreds of priests, religious, parents and well-wishers were present on this happy occasion.
After the solemn celebration of the Holy Eucharist and the perpetual profession the newly professed were felicitated at St. Joseph’s English Medium School hall, Bhubaneswar. The occasion and celebration was marked by cake cutting and congratulating the professed for their courageous step to commit themselves to the service of Lord forever. The celebration came to a happy note of ending with the sharing of agape with all present to witness this great event.
